Namibia Investment Project Catalogue 2026: Unlocking New Opportunities Across Key Sectors

Namibia’s Investment Project Catalogue 2026 presents a diverse pipeline of investment opportunities designed to support industrialisation, value addition, infrastructure development and sustainable economic growth. The catalogue features 21 projects spanning agriculture, energy, logistics, manufacturing, education, hospitality and renewable energy.

A Diverse Portfolio of Investment Opportunities

The catalogue brings together projects at different stages of development, ranging from concept and initiation to feasibility and commercial operation. This provides potential investors with opportunities across both emerging and established ventures.

Among the highlighted opportunities is Benguela Blue Aqua Farming, an offshore aquaculture project in Lüderitz focused on salmon and trout production for local, regional and international markets. The project has an estimated investment cost of USD 74.1 million under a fast-track implementation model and is aligned with Namibia’s blue economy priorities.

The Unoo Dry Port project in the Erongo Region seeks USD 100 million in equity to develop modern cargo handling and oil storage infrastructure connected to the Walvis Bay logistics corridor. The project is intended to enhance supply-chain efficiency and support growing trade across the SADC region, with an estimated potential for 1,000 jobs.

In the renewable energy space, Hyphen Hydrogen Energy represents one of the catalogue’s major projects. The green hydrogen and green ammonia development in the //Tsau Khaeb National Park has an estimated investment cost of USD 10 billion for Phases 1 and 2, with USD 5 billion in financing sought for Phase 1. The project integrates renewable energy generation, desalination, electrolysis, ammonia production and export infrastructure.

The catalogue also identifies opportunities in fertilizer manufacturing, poultry production, biomass and charcoal processing, LPG storage, housing, education, food processing and tourism. For instance, the proposed local poultry feed plant aims to reduce reliance on imported feed inputs, while the Prifa Private School expansion seeks to strengthen access to private education and STEM facilities.

A Platform for Investment and Partnerships

Collectively, the projects demonstrate opportunities to participate in Namibia’s developing value chains while contributing to employment, infrastructure, local production and regional trade. The Namibia Investment Project Catalogue 2026 therefore serves as a useful reference for investors, businesses and strategic partners exploring opportunities across the country’s priority sectors.
