Ambassadors Showcase Tourism Treasures at GTTCI’s World Tourism Day Gala

New Delhi, September 27, 2023 – Global Trade & Technology Council (India) (GTTCI) marked World Tourism Day 2023 in a grand celebration held at The Lalit, New Delhi. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including HE Mr. H Dillum, High Commissioner of Mauritius, HE Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of Myanmar, HE Mr. Arunkoemar Hardien, Ambassador of Suriname, HE Mr. KL Ganju, Hon Consul General of Union of Comoros, Mr. Darkhan Seitenov, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Kazakhstan, Ms. Alena from the Embassy of Belarus, Mr. Myo Mint from the Embassy of Myanmar, and Mr. Alwaly P Abu Bakar from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam.

GTTCI Sets the Green Tourism Agenda Alight on World Tourism Day 2023

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, who emphasized this year’s World Tourism Day theme, “Tourism and Green Investment.” Each Ambassador and Diplomat presented opportunities for tourism in their respective countries, showcasing the rich diversity and attractions they have to offer. GTTCI Directors, Dr. Pawan Kansal, Adv Rajiv Tuli, Dr. Prem Garg, Dr. Piyush Dwivedi, Mr. Vineet Nahata, and Mr. Naresh Mangal, honored the Ambassadors and Diplomats for their insightful presentations. Ambassador Amarendra Khatua, Advisor to GTTCI, also shed light on the rapid growth of India’s tourism sector.

7 Foreign Missions presented at World Tourism Day by GTTCI

During the ceremony, the September Edition (G20 Special Edition) of GTTCI’s monthly newsletter, “GTTC Insights,” was unveiled. Dr. Gupta proudly announced that “GTTC Insights” is now globally published and accessible online to over 85 million readers worldwide, providing valuable insights into global trade and tourism trends. The event was further graced by the presence of special guests, including Wg Cdr Praful Bakshi and Ambassador Rajan. GTTCI members Aditya Garg, Jitender Chawla, Kawaljeet Yadav, Neha Talwar, Payal Kansal, Ritu Bhagat, and Shubham Gupta also attended the festivities, making it a memorable and impactful celebration of World Tourism Day.
