Global Trade & Technology Council (India) Leads Business Delegation to Vietnam

From March 6th to March 11th, 2024, the Global Trade & Technology Council (India) orchestrated a strategic business delegation to Vietnam. Comprising 28 GTTCI members and other delegates, the mission aimed to explore business and collaboration opportunities across the nation. The journey spanned from South to North Vietnam, with key meetings held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Tuyen Quang.

Mr. Subhash Prasad Gupta, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India in Vietnam, represented the embassy at a business forum in Hanoi, strengthening bilateral ties.

Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of the Indian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, hosted a productive dinner meet for Indian and Vietnamese businesses, fostering collaboration.

The delegation also enjoyed exploring Vietnam’s cultural landmarks, including Halong Bay and Da Nang. With a diverse portfolio spanning various sectors, the delegates sought to forge strategic partnerships, enhancing economic cooperation between India and Vietnam.

Strengthening Economic and Tourism Ties: Working Session with Tuyen Quang Province

[Tuyen Quang, March 5, 2024] – A significant step towards enhancing economic cooperation and tourism development unfolded during a productive working session between the Global Trade and Technology Council (India), the Asian Tourism Development Institute, the Vietnamese Institute of Science and Intellectual Development, and Tuyen Quang Province’s leadership on March 5th.

Led by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, President of the Global Trade and Technology Council (India), the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, shedding light on Tuyen Quang’s abundant cultural and historical tourism assets.

With Tuyen Quang boasting nearly 700 historical and cultural relics and scenic spots, including special national relics, it emerges as a promising destination for tourism development. Dr. Gupta and Professor Nguyen Duy Cuong, Chairperson of GTTCI VN, expressed eagerness to explore investment opportunities, particularly in film projects, underscoring their commitment to sustainable development.

The session witnessed an exchange of proposals aimed at strengthening economic ties and bolstering tourism infrastructure. Investors expressed keen interest in developing cultural and tourism villages, preserving traditional heritage, and implementing film projects, recognizing Tuyen Quang’s potential as a vibrant locale for investment.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation, with the delegation pledging continued research and promotion of investment opportunities within Tuyen Quang. The working session followed a comprehensive visit and exploration of the Na Hang – Lam Binh nature reserve, reaffirming the delegation’s dedication to advancing sustainable development initiatives in the province.

GTTCI Expands Presence with New Representative Office in Vietnam

[Hanoi, March 6, 2024] – The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) GTTCI proudly announces the inauguration of its representative office in Vietnam, situated at Floor 5, VCCI Tower, No. 9 Dao Duy Anh, Hanoi. This expansion marks a significant step towards fostering bilateral trade relations and technological collaboration between India and Vietnam.

The inauguration ceremony took place on March 6th, 2024, attended by delegates of GTTCI Vietnam Business Voyage alongside the GTTCI Vietnam team. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Dang Thi Thanh, Chairwoman of the Global Science and Economic Forum, who has been appointed as the Chief Representative of GTTCI in Vietnam.

This strategic move underscores GTTCI’s commitment to facilitating cross-border partnerships and driving innovation in key sectors. The newly established office will serve as a pivotal hub for fostering dialogue, forging alliances, and driving sustainable economic growth between India and Vietnam.

Vietnam -India Economic & Cultural Exchange Forum

The Forum “Vietnam – India Cultural and Economic Exchange creates a space for cultural, artistic and economic exchange, and will continue to affirm its important role in promoting push integration, cooperation and sustainable development between the two countries Vietnam and India to a new level.

On March 6, the Forum “Vietnam – India Cultural and Economic Exchange” organized by the Global Trade & Technology Council (India) was held in Hanoi at Dolce by Wyndham Hotel, Hanoi Golden Lake.

Attending the Forum were Mr. Subhash Prasad Gupta – Deputy Ambassador of India to Vietnam, Dr. Pawan Kansal – Chairman (Industrial Export) – GTTCI, Dr. Gaurav Gupta – Chairman of the Global Trade & Technology Council India (GTTCI) Head of the program organizing committee along with various GTTCI members including Dr. Parmeet Singh Chadha, Kapil Khandelwal, Gopal Krishan Khandelwal, Mahendra Sharma, SL Tank, CA Mukul Garg, Navratan Aggarwal and delegates including Dr. Vinod K Verma, Priti Prakash, Shri Kishan, Rahul Jain, Safiena Joseph, Archana Singh.

On the Vietnamese side, there were Mr. Nguyen Lam – Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Ta Van Ha – Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly’s Culture and Education Committee, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau – former Vietnamese Ambassador to India and 80 Vietnamese – Indian businesses attended.

The “Vietnam – India Cultural and Economic Exchange” forum creates favorable conditions for businesses representing the two countries to have opportunities to cooperate, exchange trade and services in all fields. This is an important event organized to create opportunities to meet, promote cultural exchanges and promote trade cooperation between leading businesses of the two countries.

GTTCI has conducted many Science and Economic forums in many countries, bringing together many individuals who are intellectuals, scientists, social activists, politicians, overseas Vietnamese and businessmen. in all fields in Vietnam-India and many countries with social influence.


At the Forum, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong received the decision, certificate, scepter and badge for the title of Chairperson of GTTCI Vietnam’s board of directors for the 2024-2026 term.

Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City Hosts Business Networking Dinner for GTTCI Vietnam Business Voyage Delegates

[Ho Chi Minh City, March 10, 2024] – Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, hosted a dynamic business networking dinner at India House on March 10th, 2024. The event brought together delegates of the GTTCI Vietnam Business Voyage with over 25 Vietnamese businesses and representatives from the Indian Consulate.

The evening provided a platform for fruitful interactions and discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties between India and Vietnam. Over 20 Indian businesses participated, demonstrating their keen interest in exploring collaborative opportunities in the Vietnamese market.

During the event, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, representing GTTCI, presented a special token of appreciation to Dr. Sethi and his team for their unwavering support and efforts in fostering economic cooperation between the two nations.
