Viet Nam – India Electronics and IT Business Forum 2026

The Embassy of Viet Nam in India, in coordination with relevant partners, successfully organized the Viet Nam – India Electronics and IT Business Forum 2026 on 23 March 2026 at Embassy of Vietnam in New Delhi.



The Forum brought together over 100 enterprises, business leaders, and representatives from more than 20 leading Chamber of Commerce and Industry Associations from both Viet Nam and India, including the Confederation of Indian Industry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association, Viet Nam Electronic Industries Association, and the Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association, among others.



The event was held as part of a series of activities marking the 10th anniversary of the Viet Nam–India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2016–2026), underscoring the growing dynamism of bilateral relations, particularly in high-potential sectors such as electronics manufacturing, software development, information and communication technology (ICT), digital transformation, and emerging technologies.


In his keynote address, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Ambassador of Viet Nam to India, emphasized that both Viet Nam and India are entering a new phase of development driven by innovation, digital transformation, and integration into global value chains. He highlighted Viet Nam’s strategic goal of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045 and India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, noting the strong alignment between the two countries’ development strategies.



Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson – GTTCI, also delivered a keynote address during the session, highlighting the importance of strengthening India–Viet Nam collaboration in electronics, information technology, and digital innovation. She emphasized the role of industry partnerships, technology exchange, and institutional cooperation in advancing sustainable economic growth between the two nations.



The Ambassador also underscored Viet Nam’s ongoing implementation of key policy frameworks, including Resolution 57 on accelerating digital transformation and innovation, and Resolution 59 on enhancing international economic integration. In this context, he highlighted the Government’s “Go Global” initiative, which encourages Vietnamese enterprises to expand internationally and deepen engagement in global markets, with India identified as a priority partner.



The Forum featured presentations from leading industry associations and institutions from both countries. Representatives of the Viet Nam Electronic Industries Association and the Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association shared insights into Viet Nam’s manufacturing and digital sectors, while Indian counterparts, including the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association, Global Trade & Technology Council (India), the MeitY Startup Hub, and the NASSCOM Centre of Excellence for IoT & AI, presented developments in India’s industrial and innovation landscape.




A highlight of the Forum was the business presentation session, where Vietnamese enterprises introduced their capabilities and partnership interests, followed by a Business Networking and B2B Matching Session. Participants engaged in direct discussions to explore opportunities in electronics manufacturing, software services, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, fintech, and technology solutions.




Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President – GTTCI, and Mr. Sanjay Kaushik, Global Advisor – Investment & Hospitality – GTTCI, also actively participated in the programme, engaging with stakeholders and contributing to discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral business cooperation and investment linkages.



The Forum provided an effective platform to strengthen business linkages, promote investment, and foster practical cooperation between Vietnamese and Indian enterprises. It reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to further deepen economic and technological collaboration in the coming years.



The Embassy of Viet Nam in India will continue to work closely with partners to facilitate business connections and support enterprises in exploring new opportunities in both markets.
