The Global Trade & Technology Council India (GTTCI) is delighted to announce the resounding success of the Nelson Mandela Day event, an inspiring call to action for individuals to create a positive difference in their communities and around the globe. This remarkable occasion aimed to honor Mandela’s legacy by promoting peace, reconciliation, and cultural diversity. The event was made possible through the support of Yashoda Superspeciality Hospitals, empowering the proceedings with their exceptional contributions. The event was attended by several Ambassadors and Diplomats including Consulate of Comoros- HE Mr. KL Ganju, Embassy of Angola, Embassy of Djibouti,Embassy of Kenya, Embassy of Palestine,Embassy of Russia,Embassy of Rwanda,Embassy of South Sudan- HE Madam Victoria,Embassy of Uganda,Embassy of Vietnam -Mr. Bui and the High Commission of Togo-Mr. Yawo Edem AKPEMADO.
Dr. Gaurav Gupta, the esteemed Founder President of GTTCI, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, setting the stage for the event’s proceedings. This was followed by insightful Opening Remarks by Professor Suresh Kumar from the Department of African Studies at the University of Delhi. The audience was then privileged to hear an enlightening address by Ms. Jyoti Kaur, President MVI on behalf of Dr. Upasana Arora, Director of Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals, who shared their perspective on the occasion.
Then Book Release of “Nelson Mandela – A Complete Biography” written by Dr. Gupta and published by Mr. Piyush Gupta, Owner – Prabhat Prakashan happened.It was followed with great words of Wisdom by Ambassadors & Diplomats.Nelson Mandela Day serves as a reminder of the enduring power of forgiveness, reconciliation, and the pursuit of justice. It is an opportunity for individuals, organisations, and governments to reflect on Mandela’s vision of a society free from discrimination and inequality and to work towards achieving it.
