
New Delhi, 2nd September 2025 — Global Trade & Technology Council (India) (GTTCI) had the honour of hosting Shri Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and National Organising Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson of GTTCI, took place at the Chairperson’s residence. In attendance were GTTCI senior members including Dr. Ashwani Mehta, Dr. Gaurav Gupta (Founder-President), Mr. Sunny Gaur, Mr. Honeyy Katiyal, Ms. Jeeva Bhat, Mr. Ravi Shankar Rao, and Mr. Shubham Gupta.

During the discussion, GTTCI apprised Shri Ambekar of its ongoing projects and recent engagements. The Council outlined its growing strategic orientation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Russia, the Middle East, and Africa, emphasising its role as a platform and hub for fostering deeper ties with India. The meeting also explored how GTTCI is contributing to India’s soft diplomacy by building networks, cultural exchanges, and trade & technology collaborations in these regions.

GTTCI reiterated its commitment to promoting international trade, facilitating shared prosperity, and reinforcing India’s global footprint through collaborative partnerships. Shri Ambekar expressed appreciation for GTTCI’s vision and the efforts taken so far, and conveyed his willingness to support initiatives that leverage people-to-people contacts and shared cultural values in furthering such international outreach.
The meeting culminated with consensus on exploring joint programmes and collaborations in trade, cultural diplomacy, and international networking that align with GTTCI’s mission to be a catalyst for global engagement and India’s soft power projection.
