In a significant step towards strengthening strategic economic cooperation and enhancing informed trade facilitation, the Global Trade and Technology Council (India) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Geoeconomic Strategic Unit to foster collaboration in geopolitical and geoeconomic research, market intelligence, and strategic advisory support. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson, GTTCI, and Mr. Ishan Jasuja, Director, Geoeconomic Strategic Unit, in the presence of Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President, GTTCI.

The partnership marks an important milestone in GTTCI’s continued efforts to deepen its institutional capacity in navigating evolving global economic dynamics and supporting members with timely, research-driven insights. Under the framework of the MoU, both institutions will work together on analytical studies, country and corridor assessments, monitoring of political and economic developments, as well as joint research outputs and strategic publications. The collaboration will initially focus on pilot engagements covering priority markets, including emerging opportunities in regions of growing geoeconomic relevance.

This collaboration reflects GTTCI’s vision of integrating strategic intelligence with trade diplomacy, enabling businesses, policymakers, and stakeholders to make informed decisions in an increasingly complex global environment. By combining GTTCI’s extensive network across diplomatic and industrial ecosystems with GSU’s specialized analytical expertise, the partnership is expected to create meaningful value for trade promotion, investment facilitation, and long-term strategic planning.

Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, whose leadership has consistently positioned the Council as a forward-looking institution in global trade and economic diplomacy, played an instrumental role in conceptualizing this collaboration. His commitment to fostering innovative partnerships and building bridges between research, policy, and business communities continues to strengthen GTTCI’s standing as a credible platform for international engagement.
The MoU also underscores GTTCI’s broader commitment to creating knowledge-led partnerships that support global commerce, economic resilience, and sustainable development. As geoeconomic considerations increasingly shape trade and investment decisions, this strategic association is poised to contribute to deeper market understanding and new avenues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Through this partnership, GTTCI and the Geoeconomic Strategic Unit reaffirm their shared intent to advance informed dialogue, support strategic decision-making, and unlock emerging opportunities in the global economic landscape.
