GTTCI Signs MoU with UNICAP to Foster Sustainable Development and Investment Cooperation

In a landmark step towards advancing sustainable development and international collaboration, the Global Trade & Technology Council (India) [GTTCI] signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Innovation Capital (UNICAP) – International PPP-Investment Fund on 8th November 2025 in Moscow, Russia. The physical copy of the MoU, along with an action plan, was formally signed by Mr. Dmitry Sadykov, Founder of UNICAP, Co-Founder & CEO of VODPROM, and Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson of Global Trade & Technology Council (India).

The MoU establishes a strategic consortium between GTTCI and UNICAP aimed at implementing innovative and impactful projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. UNICAP, a global PPP-focused investment fund managing €200 million with a €1.7 billion project portfolio, specializes in socially significant sectors such as water management, housing, healthcare, and infrastructure, guided by ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.

Through this partnership, GTTCI and UNICAP will jointly develop a digital platform for integrated water resource management in India and Uzbekistan, marking a transformative initiative towards efficient water governance and sustainability. This collaboration seeks to promote sustainable investment ecosystems, enhance infrastructure innovation, and encourage cross-border partnerships for shared growth and resilience.

The initiative aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly emphasizing clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), industry and innovation (SDG 9), sustainable cities (SDG 11), and climate action (SDG 13). Guided by these global principles, the GTTCI–UNICAP partnership underscores a shared vision of building an inclusive, green, and economically vibrant future.

With this MoU, GTTCI continues to strengthen its commitment to fostering global trade, technology cooperation, and sustainable progress, reinforcing India’s role as a key partner in advancing environmentally responsible international collaborations
