GTTCI Signs MoU with IEML to Foster Global Collaboration

Greater Noida, June 26, 2024: The Global Trade & Technology Council India (GTTCI) has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML) at the India Expo Center & Mart in Greater Noida. This agreement marks a pivotal step in enhancing global trade opportunities and technological exchanges.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder-President of GTTCI, and Dr. Pawan Kansal, Chairman (Industrial Export) of GTTCI, in the esteemed presence of Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of IEML and Director General of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH). The ceremony underscores the commitment of both organizations to create a robust platform for international trade and cooperation.

Dr. Gaurav Gupta expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This MoU represents a momentous occasion for both GTTCI and IEML as we gear up for the Spring Fair Delhi 2025. This collaboration will enable global participation from exporters and manufacturers, creating new avenues for trade and investment.”

Mr. Rakesh Kumar emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership, highlighting that “GTTCI will act as the global outreach partner for IEML exhibitions and other engagements. This collaboration aims to bring global participation and facilitate the sharing of opportunities with embassies and foreign missions in India and Indian missions around the globe.”

The MoU outlines several key objectives:Development of strong institutional trade and business relations between GTTCI and IEML. Exchange of information on economic status, taxation, investment opportunities, trade policies, and legislative changes. Regular exchange of publications and materials concerning economic development, foreign trade, and investment policies. Systematic consultation and cooperation on trade and investment policies. Assistance in organizing business delegations and facilitating their business interests. Joint efforts in organizing and participating in international fairs, exhibitions, and trade promotion events. A Joint Committee will be established to drive trade and investment cooperation and bilateral projects for mutual benefit. Regular meetings will be held to facilitate the exchange of views and review the implementation of the MoU.

This collaboration is set to strengthen the economic and industrial ties between GTTCI and IEML, fostering a conducive environment for global trade and technological advancements.
