GTTCI Signs Landmark MoU with IACCIA to Empower India-Arab Trade & Innovation Synergy

New Delhi, [2nd May 2025] – In a significant milestone for global economic collaboration, the Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (IACCIA). This landmark partnership is aimed at fostering enhanced trade, investment, and innovation between India and the 22 Arab League countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, among others.

The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson of GTTCI, and Dr. Waiel Awwad, General Secretary of IACCIA, in the esteemed presence of Mr. Rakesh Asthana (Chief Advisor, GTTCI), Mr. Jalaj Srivastava (General Secretary, GTTCI), and Mr. Shubham Gupta (Director, GTTCI).

On this special occasion, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, President of GTTCI, felicitated Dr. Waiel Awwad for his outstanding contribution toward strengthening India-Arab economic relations.
Dr. Gupta shared his thoughts, stating,
