GTTCI Maharashtra Chapter Launches West and North Divisions in Pune
Pune, July 6, 2024 – The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) (GTTCI) proudly announces the successful organization of a pivotal business meet in Pune, focusing on “Connecting the World through Trade – India’s Rising Global Significance.” The event also featured an engaging talk show titled “Mauritius Meets India,” and the official launch of GTTCI Maharashtra West and North Chapters.
Held at the prestigious ICC Trade Tower, Shivaji Nagar, Pune, this momentous occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Mr. H Dillum, High Commissioner of Mauritius, along with other distinguished guests including Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson Religare Group & GTTCI, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President GTTCI, Ms. Pienaal Waankhaday, Mentor GTTCI Maharashtra, Ms. Aisshwarya Waankhaday Sachadeva, President GTTCI Maharashtra, CA Suyog Bagul, Treasurer and West Zone President GTTCI Maharashtra, and Ms. Yashashree Pawar, President GTTCI North Maharashtra. The event was also attended by numerous renowned personalities and members of the business community.
The program commenced with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, invoking blessings for a successful event. Dr. Gaurav Gupta, a visionary leader, passionately shared the mission and purpose behind the establishment of GTTCI West and North Maharashtra Chapters and extended a heartfelt welcome to all the distinguished guests and members.
The newly appointed board members of GTTCI Maharashtra received their membership certificates and GTTCI pins. The new board comprises Treasurer & West Zone President CA Suyog Bagul, President North Maharashtra Ms. Yashashree Pawar, Vice President Shri Mahesh Munot, Secretary CA Amit Gholkar, Treasurer CA Nikhil Bachute, Director Strategy Shri Mahendra Potnis, and Director Business Leads Ms. Sayali Dhatrak.
During the talk show, His Excellency Mr. H Dillum elaborated on the business opportunities between India and Mauritius and praised GTTCI for its impactful work across India.
The event also included the distribution of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Awards by Silver Edge Utopian, an organisation on Women’s Health, Diabetes, and Environment. The jury for the CSR Awards comprised Dr. Abhigyan Upadhyay and Shri Amar Bhanushali from Silver Edge Utopian. The awards were presented by His Excellency Mr. H Dillum to five deserving awardees: Shri Arvind Pargaonkar (Schneider Electric Pvt. Ltd., Ahmednagar), Shri Abhijeet Jayaswal (Abhijeet Group, Nagpur), Dr. Kapil Joshi (ERISHA, Pune), Shri Balkrishna Kapse (Kapse Foundation, Yeola, Nashik), and Dr. Rajesh Purushottam (Prognostics INMED Pvt. Ltd., Pune). Representatives from Silver Edge Utopian present at the event included Ms. Pienaal Waankhaday (Founder Chairperson), Ms. Aisshwarya Waankhaday Sachadeva (Vice President and Joint MD), Ms. Rupali Bagul (Director), and Advisory Board Members Shri Girish Waankhaday and Shri Jaydeep Waankhade.
The GTTCI team also briefed the audience about the upcoming ‘GTTCI Business Conclave,’ planned to be a grand event in November 2024 in Mumbai and Nashik. Ms. Sonali Bhagwat, Secretary GTTCI Maharashtra, anchored the program with poise and professionalism. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by CA Suyog Bagul.
