GTTCI Hosts Ethiopian Coffee Evening & Farewell Get-Together in Honour of Deputy of Ethiopian Embassy

The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) hosted a warm and distinguished Ethiopian Coffee Evening & Farewell Get-Together in honour of Amb. Ms. Bizunesh Meseret Tegegne, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on 10th May 2026 at the residence of the GTTCI Chairperson in New Delhi. The elegant diplomatic gathering celebrated friendship, cultural exchange, and strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation among nations.




The evening witnessed the gracious presence and active participation of distinguished ambassadors and diplomats from several countries. Ambassadors from Botswana, Cuba, Lesotho, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe attended the gathering, while the Chargé d’Affaires of Cameroon and Consul General (Hony.) of Comoros also graced the occasion. The event further saw participation from diplomats representing China, Nigeria, and the Deputy Head of Mission from South Africa. Friends and well-wishers from Ethiopia, Iran, and Jordan also graced the occasion.





The highlight and main attraction of the evening was the authentic Ethiopian coffee experience, which beautifully showcased the rich coffee culture and centuries-old traditions of Ethiopia. Guests highly appreciated the distinctive aroma, flavour, and ceremonial presentation of Ethiopian coffee, making the gathering truly memorable and culturally enriching.




The event reflected GTTCI’s continued commitment towards fostering global partnerships, diplomatic engagement, and cultural understanding through meaningful dialogue and people-to-people connections.
