New Delhi, 18 June 2026: The Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI) hosted a prestigious evening, “Celebration of 20 Years of Diplomatic Excellence,” at Areness House, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, honouring the remarkable journey of diplomatic service, leadership, and international friendship.
The event was held in honour of Mr. Mahamoud Abdillahi Miguil, First Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in India, commemorating two decades of his dedicated service and significant contribution towards strengthening diplomatic relations and fostering global cooperation.
The gathering brought together distinguished diplomats, international representatives, industry leaders, and global stakeholders to celebrate the power of diplomacy in building bridges between nations. Representatives from Comoros, Czech Republic, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, and Rwanda, along with a representative from UNESCO, attended the celebration, reflecting the shared commitment towards international collaboration and multilateral engagement.
The event also witnessed the presence of members of the international community, including expatriate representatives from Iran and Ethiopia, adding diverse perspectives and strengthening the spirit of global friendship.
Prominent industry and professional leaders including Mr. Dhiraj Dhar Gupta, Director – Joyson Safety Systems; Mr. Rajeev Jain, Ex-IIS; and Mr. Navratan Aggarwal, Director – Bikanervala, were present at the occasion.
