New Delhi, November 26, 2023: The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) achieved a historic milestone on Saturday, November 25, 2023, with the launch of the GTTC India Ethiopia Forum at the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The distinguished event was graced by H.E. Mr. Demeke Atnafu Ambulo, Ambassador of Ethiopia, who inaugurated the forum alongside Dr. Gaurav Gupta, the Founder President of the Global Trade & Technology Council (India). The esteemed gathering included VIP guest Mp Bhuvneshwar Kalitha and special guest Lion Naresh Aggarwal, past president of Lions Clubs International.
Representatives from various foreign missions, including Angola, Togo, Lesotho, Djibouti, Comoros, Somalia, and Palestine, added an international flair to the occasion.
International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women Commemorated with Dignitaries and Special Guests
In a simultaneous celebration, the Embassy also commemorated the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The event featured a distinguished panel discussing critical issues related to women’s safety and empowerment. The panelists included Dr. Sanjana John, Dr. Prerna Kohli, and Neelu Rohra.
Rennie Joy, Chairperson of GTTC India Ethiopia Forum, shared the vision for the forum, emphasizing its role in fostering collaboration between India and Ethiopia. Subhash Goyal, Co-Chair for the forum, expressed gratitude in a vote of thanks.
