
New Delhi, October 13th, 2025:
The Russian House in New Delhi hosted a captivating cultural evening titled “Echoes of Tradition: Indian Cultural Dance Evening,” celebrating the beauty of Indian classical and traditional dance forms. The evening was hosted in honour of a high-level delegation from Russia to India, led by Mr. Fradkov Mikhail, Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS), Russian Federation. The event was graced by a distinguished audience that included the High Commissioner of Guyana and diplomats from the Embassies of Iraq, Madagascar, Russia, Somalia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, reflecting the spirit of cultural harmony and international friendship.








The evening commenced with warm opening remarks by Ms. Elena Remizova, Head of the Russian House, who highlighted the enduring cultural bond between India and Russia, and the role of such events in strengthening people-to-people ties and marked the occasion of 60 years of Russian Science & Cultural Centre in India.

A mesmerizing series of performances followed, presented by artists from the Rajasthani Academy, who enthralled the audience with their graceful depictions of India’s vibrant dance traditions.





Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson, GTTCI, and Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President, GTTCI, felicitated the performers along with Ms. Olga Krushkina and appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Russian House and the Rajasthani Academy in showcasing India’s artistic heritage on an international platform.



The event, supported by the Global Trade & Technology Council (India) [GTTCI], concluded with an interactive Hi-Tea, providing an opportunity for dignitaries and guests to engage in meaningful cultural dialogue.



Such cultural exchanges continue to serve as a bridge between nations, promoting mutual understanding, friendship, and goodwill through the universal language of art and culture.
