New Delhi, 12 July 2025:
The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) [GTTCI] organized a high-impact event at the India Habitat Centre on 12th July 2025, bringing together dignitaries, diplomats, Olympians, legal luminaries, educators, and emerging young achievers to celebrate World Youth Skills Day with a focus on Sports, Education, and Cultural Diplomacy.
The program commenced with the National Anthem of India, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President – GTTCI. The event featured a distinguished special address on Sports & Cultural Diplomacy by Mr. Rakesh Asthana, Chief Advisor – GTTCI and Former Commissioner of Delhi Police.



A key highlight was the vision-sharing for the Yogeshwar Dutt Wrestling Academy by Dr. Ashwani Mehta, Medical Director – Sir Gangaram Kolmet Hospital. An inspiring AV presentation was showcased, followed by the signing of a cooperation MoU between GTTCI Chairperson Dr. Rashmi Saluja and Olympic Medallist Mr. Yogeshwar Dutt.




The gathering was further enriched by Mr. Yogeshwar Dutt’s address on empowering Youth in Sports, after which GTTCI felicitated the Gold Medal-winning Indian wrestling team (U-15 Asian Championship, Kyrgyzstan) and their coach.






The forum honored eminent personalities for their transformative contributions:
- Ms. Jaspreet Rana, Ms. Ruchi Seth, and Ms. Surina Uppal from Lotus Valley International School were felicitated as Game Changers in Transforming Youth.
- Ms. Deepali Chandhoke, Senior Advocate, was recognized as an Icon in Encouraging and Mentoring Young Legal Minds, Especially Women.
- Ms. Inaaya Khan, representing India’s Women Cestoball Team, was lauded as an Upcoming Youth in Sports.




A captivating introduction of Kokand University, Andijan and 7Saber Sportswear set the stage for academic and entrepreneurial collaboration.


Delivering the keynote address, GTTCI Chairperson Dr. Rashmi Saluja emphasized the urgent need to integrate sports, education, and skill development for youth empowerment in alignment with World Youth Skills Day.


In a moment of cultural harmony, Ms. Elena Remizova, Director of Russian House, introduced a Russian youth folklore dance ensemble, presented to commemorate the Day of Family, Love & Fidelity. This was followed by special addresses by Guest of Honour Mrs. Diana Alipova, spouse of the Russian Ambassador, and Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Yousef Mustafa Ali Abdel Ghani, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.














Mr. Jalaj Srivastava, Former Chairman – NDMC and General Secretary – GTTCI, delivered the vote of thanks. The evening concluded with a festive cultural performance and felicitation of the talented artists and athletes.
