GTTCI and Religare Group Host Luncheon for Belarusian Business Delegates during World Food India

The Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI), in association with Religare Group, hosted a luncheon today for a high-level business delegation from Belarus visiting Delhi for World Food India. The meeting was presided over by H.E. Mr. Mikhail M. Kasko, Ambassador of Belarus to India, and aimed at exploring business collaborations between Belarusian and Indian companies.

The luncheon brought together key industry leaders from both nations. On the Indian side, companies from finance, hospitality, FMCG, IMPEX, and other sectors participated actively in the discussions. The Belarusian delegation included prominent representatives:

  • Ms. Valeria Shatilova – Head of the Division of Exhibition Events, National Centre for Marketing and Price Study.
  • Ms. Olga Klimakova – Chief Specialist of the Division for Foreign Economic Activity, The Belarusian State Concern of Food Industry.
  • Ms. Tatsiana Lisitsina – General Director, Joint Venture Joint Stock Company.
  • Mr. Andrei Hancharou – Director, Minsk Margarine Plant.
  • Mr. Dzmitryi Mikhaltsevich – Head of Export Department, Minsk Margarine Plant.

Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Chairperson of Religare Group, warmly introduced the Belarusian delegation and assured them of support and cooperation in promoting their products in the Indian market. Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, mediated the meeting, facilitating fruitful exchanges between the two sides. Mr. Rakesh Asthana, Chief Advisor of GTTCI, joined briefly to discuss potential collaborations in the pharmaceutical sector.

The discussions centered around key Belarusian products, including chocolates, vodka, mustard sauce, rapeseed oil, and a variety of dips and sauces, highlighting the potential for these unique offerings in the Indian market.

Notable Indian businessmen who attended the luncheon included Dr. Ashwani Mehta, Mr. Kunal Awasthi, Mr. Sameer Arora, Mr. Hemant, and Mr. Shubham Gupta.

This luncheon served as a significant platform for enhancing bilateral trade relations and creating new opportunities for collaboration between the business communities of Belarus and India.
