“The composition of both the exhibition and the business programme clearly demonstrates the mutual interest of Russia and India across a wide range of industrial sectors,” Andrey Sobolev, trade commissioner of the Russian Federation in India, told ET. “INNOPROM.India is another practical manifestation of the special and privileged strategic partnership between our countries and a platform for advancing complementary national priorities – Atmanirbhar Bharat in India and technological sovereignty in Russia – both of which are supported by the leaders of our two countries,” he said.

“We also see the exhibition as an important instrument for developing new industrial partnerships, expanding business cooperation and contributing to our shared goal of increasing bilateral trade to $100 billion by 2030,” he said.

“INNOPROM is a powerful platform for global collaboration, an opportunity to diversify supply chains, to meet new friends and partners, and to also seek technology in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, green energy, automation and robotics. It is also a great opportunity to access new markets and new customers and create more collaborations across different continents and countries,” said Mr. Ameya Prabhu, Co-Chairman, CII International Council, and Managing Director of NAFA Capital Advisors.

India is one of Russia’s key economic and trade partners. Over the past five years, bilateral trade between the two countries increased nearly sevenfold, exceeding $60 billion in 2025.
