The Lions Club Delhi Veg (LCDVEG) marked National Author’s Day with an inspiring confluence of literature, art, and spirituality at the prestigious India International Centre, New Delhi. The grand celebration, conceptualized and organized under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Gaurav Gupta, brought together eminent authors, dignitaries, and cultural performers on one distinguished platform.

Adding to the international significance of the event, officials from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia graced the occasion as special guests of honor. Their presence and participation in the felicitation of authors, speakers, and performers symbolized the power of art and literature to transcend borders and foster global friendship.

The evening unfolded under the eloquent stage presence of Dr. Punam Garg, who beautifully orchestrated the entire program with grace, confidence, and charisma. Her seamless hosting and magnetic energy kept the audience engaged and connected throughout the celebration.

The highlight of the event was the felicitation of eminent authors including Mrs. Ranjeeta Sahay Ashesh, Mr. Azeeim Uddim, and Mr. Prem Singh Dhingra, whose notable works — Know Your Wife, The Power of Prayer, Journey to Perfection, How to Be Happy with the People, and My Mind My Energy — were recognized for their profound insights into human relationships and spiritual well-being.


Adding an uplifting dimension to the evening, Ms. Hema Gulati, founder of Divination Path by Hema and a renowned Tarot card reader, astrologer, and motivational speaker, conducted a Smile Activation Workshop. Her interactive session inspired positivity, inner balance, and emotional rejuvenation among the guests.

The event was further graced by the distinguished presence of eminent personalities including
Mr. Rajesh Mehta (IFS), Dr. T.S. Gerawal (General Secretary, Age Care India), Mr. Pratap Palla (RSS), Mr. Mukul Garg, Mr. Vikas Chowdhury, Mr. Santosh Chowdhury (Jain University), and Mr. Jatin Arora (Shahyak).

Audiences were captivated by Ganesh Vandana, Yashoda (Lord Krishna), Lord Venkateswara, Lord Shiva, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Bollywood Fusion, Indo-Western, and Punjabi Folk Remix presentations.



Performers included the talented Dancers from Kurnool, the expressive Namita Dwivedi Group, the dynamic Kala Sanskriti Dance Academy, and the youthful energy of Himank Garg & Group. Each performance reflected artistic brilliance and the essence of India’s rich cultural heritage.



Every author, speaker, and performer was honoured and felicitated for their exceptional contribution to the world of art and literature, creating an atmosphere filled with gratitude, pride, and inspiration.
