11th india international MSMe TradeFair & expo – 2025: A Grand Success

 The 11th India International MSME Trade Fair & Expo – 2025, organized by MSME Development Forum under the
chairmanship of Mr. Rajnish Goenka with the support of the Government of India, witnessed a series of significant sessions and discussions with participation from dignitaries, parliamentarians, industry leaders, and experts from India and abroad.



Distinguished guests on the occasion included Hon’ble Member of Parliament Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, Mr. Kashmiri Lal and Mr. Satish from the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, senior journalist and anchor from DD News Mr. Ashok Srivastava, noted social worker Ms. Shobha Vijendra, Mr. Vaibhav Dange (OSD to Shri Nitin Gadkari), and Mr. Evgeny Griva, Deputy Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Russia.


Ms. Bansuri Swaraj highlighted that India’s MSMEs are no longer just job seekers but have become job creators. She emphasized the growing role of women in entrepreneurship and self-employment, stating that small businesses and traditional skills have empowered women economically, enabling them to contribute to national progress and take on leadership roles in society.



Mr. Kashmiri Lal underscored that the real foundation of the Swadeshi movement lies in India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises. He noted that when India speaks of “Make in India” and “Vocal for Local,” MSMEs stand at the forefront, promoting indigenous culture, tradition, and local products while strengthening the nation’s economic self-reliance.



Senior journalist Mr. Ashok Srivastava spoke on the challenges of global trade wars and tariffs, stressing that MSMEs enhance India’s resilience by boosting production, strengthening supply chains, and generating employment.


Mr. Vaibhav Dange pointed to India’s recent strides in semiconductor manufacturing as a crucial step toward self-reliance, asserting that India must reduce dependency on other nations. He emphasized the pivotal role of MSMEs in establishing India as a strong link in the global supply chain.


Ms. Shobha Vijendra highlighted the importance of Indian-made products such as handicrafts and indigenous goods. She urged society to promote “Made in India” over foreign brands, while also acknowledging the growing participation of women entrepreneurs in job creation and their contribution to the national economy.


Mr. Evgeny Griva, Deputy Trade Commissioner of Russia, stressed the longstanding economic partnership between India and Russia and the potential of MSMEs to take this cooperation to new heights. He said Russia is keen to expand collaboration with India in sectors such as engineering, pharmaceuticals, agri-processing, and technology, creating fresh opportunities for MSMEs in both countries.




Adding to the significance of the event, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, was felicitated for his contributions to international trade promotion and also took part in a key panel discussion on strengthening MSMEs in the global marketplace.The expo not only explored the strength and potential of MSMEs on a global scale but also introduced fresh perspectives on self-reliance and the Swadeshi movement. It created a unique platform for entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and experts to network and engage in meaningful dialogue, paving the way for stronger opportunities and collaborations for the MSME sector in the future.
